Legendary SEAL Team 3 sniper Chris Kyle showed up at the SHOT Show 2013, where he shared his insights on his long career as SEAL Team Sniper, as well as took part in photo ops and autograph signing.
Hosting Kyle’s appearance at the event on Jan. 16 was FNH USA, LLC., a global leader in the development and manufacturing of reliable, innovative, high-quality firearms for military, law enforcement and commercial customers. “We are honored to have such a distinguished veteran and accomplished marksman to offer his unique insights to 2013 SHOT Show attendees,” Ken Pfau, Senior Vice President for FNH USA, said in a news release.
Kyle boasts of an impressive track record during his 10-year career as member of Navy SEAL Team 3. He was dubbed the most lethal sniper in the U.S. military history, with 160 confirmed kills out of the more than 250 claimed kills. During his deployment to Iraq, he earned the monicker “The Devil of Ramadi” from insurgents who put a $20,000 bounty on his head.
The four-tour combat veteran is also a decorated service member. His awards include 2 Silver Stars, 5 Bronze Stars, 2 Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and 1 Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.
Kyle has authored American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History, which made it to the NY Times bestselling list.
