When SEALs are depicted in movies and in books, more often than not, this is done in the context of combat and war. SEAL of my Dreams, however, shows another side to the SEALs: romance.
Author Christie Ridgeway shared details from the new anthology in the blog Riding with the Top Down. The anthology is a collaboration between several romance authors, although Ridgeway admits that this was her brainchild, as the project started out with an idea that she shared through a tweet.
The excitement was evident in the way Ridgway wrote in her blog: “This was a team effort! Several of our Riders are involved and what seemed daunting at first (an idea I threw out in a tweet!) turned into a project to be proud of and which took many people to make happen.”
The anthology is comprised of 18 stories. Participating authors, aside from Ridgeway, include Jami Alden, Stephanie Bond, Tara Janzen, and Marliss Melton. The foreword is by Robyn Carr.
SEAL of my Dreams is scheduled for release on November 11, but Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Bell Bridge Books are now receiving pre-orders in print, while digital copies are now available for preorders at Amazon.
What makes this anthology even more interesting is the fact that all the proceeds from the book will go towards funding for Veterans’ medical research.
Ridgeway extends the following invitation on her blog: “If you want to read eighteen great romance stories starring Navy SEALs (and feel extra good about it!) please rush out and get your copy. Not to mention our foreword…Robyn Carr will make you tear up, I promise!”
