Hampton Shop Declared Off Limits to Military Personnel

Blazin Herbs, a shop in Hampton, has been declared as off-limits by the Joint Armed Forces Disciplinary Control Board for Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina.

The ban was implemented on Wednesday, although the shop has already been placed off-limits on an emergency basis in July. This was triggered by reports that the shop sold synthetic marijuana, otherwise known as Spice, a substance which was banned in the state in July.

The off-limits list consists of businesses that are deemed as dangerous to the health and personal well-being of service members, and military personnel, both active-duty and reservists, are prohibited from patronizing or going into these establishments.
