The trial for Navy SEAL Matthew McCabe, still inexplicably charged with assaulting a prisoner whose allegations seem to have come straight out of a terrorist rule book, is scheduled for Monday, May 3rd. And we continue to lend a hand towards spreading the word about this outrageous treatment of America’s heroes – even if we already sound like a broken record.
Despite the fact that the two other SEALs who were accused alongside Matthew McCabe – Navy SEALs Julio Huertas and Jonathan Keefe – have been declared NOT GUILTY in separate court-martials in Iraq, the trial of McCabe is still pushing through in Norfolk, Virginia. Rallies in support of Matthew McCabe have been organized, and the first is scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Tampa, Florida. The rally is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m., May 2, outside the Main Gate of MacDill Air Force Base, at Florida Rock and Tank Lines Inc.
Unfortunately, Tampa rules limit the number of participants in the Tampa Rally to 50 people.
For Florida residents who will not be able to make it to the rally on Sunday in Tampa, another rally is scheduled in Florida, this time in Miami, to be held on May 3rd. The Miami rally will be held at The Torch of Friendship, 301 Biscayne Blvd., near Bayside between 3rd and 4th Street in Miami, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
