With diligence and perseverance, anything is possible. And when one gives something his or her all, whatever the outcome may be, one can revel in the thought that you did everything you could.

All that may sound far-fetched, but we could not help but feel just a bit nostalgic. After all, we had a bit of good news in our previous post – one charge each has been dropped for Navy SEALs Julio Huertas and Jonathan Keefe. We can only hope at this time that this is just the beginning of more good things to come!

We can never duplicate the kind of service and dedication that every Navy SEAL has for country and countrymen, but we are already happy with the thought that even the little that we do can go a long way when pooled together. When the news of charges against the Navy SEALs were first made public, we had taken a special interest in their cause and eventually thought of a way to be of help – and give our patrons an opportunity to express their support for the SEALs.

We have been selling two shirts emblazoned with words of support for Navy SEALs Matthew McCabe, Julio Huertas and Jonathan Keefe. “Condemn the Terrorists, Not Our Heroes!” became a common battle cry. For every shirt sold, $10 was appropriated towards helping the SEALs with the legal expenses that they had to incur as a result of the charges against them. And with the community’s support, we’ve hit the $10,000 mark! How far, indeed, has $10 gone!

Warrior Defense Fund Board Member retired Navy SEAL Captain Larry Bailey said: “The US Navy SEALs Store is owed a large vote of thanks and recognition for the funds they have contributed to the defense of our three young SEALs.”
