Despite the exoneration of Navy SEALs Julio Huertas and Jonathan Keefe in separate trials in Camp Victory in Iraq last week, and despite calls from the public for the dropping of charges against Matthew McCabe, there have been no signs that something of that sort will happen before Monday.
So for now, it looks like support rallies organized by Support Our SEALs will go on as planned. Below are the scheduled events so far.
On Sunday, May 2, there will be a support rally at the MacDill AirĀ Force Base, outside the main gate, atFlorida Rock and Tank Lines, Inc., 6604 S. Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, Florida, starting at 1 until 4 in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the city of Tampa has a code that limits the number of rally participants to the 50, so the organizers can only accommodate the first 50 who arrive. Check out BluntTrama.com to RSVP for the event; those who intend to go to the rally are encouraged to bring signs that declare their support; you can also choose to put on Support Our SEALs shirts and other gear.
On May 3rd, the start date for the trial of Navy SEAL Matthew McCabe, there are three planned support rallies: one at the location of the trial in Norfolk, Virginia; another in Fort Worth, Texas; and yet another in Miami, Florida.
It is possible that other rallies will be held in San Diego, California; Jacksonville, Florida; and in either Nashville, Knoxville or Memphis, Tennessee; Support Our SEALs is still waiting for confirmation. More details will be sent out once these are available.
