In previous posts, we have already shared with you the background of the lawyers tasked with defending Navy SEALs Matthew McCabe and Julio Huertas. In this post, we focus on Greg McCormack, who is defending Navy SEAL Jonathan Keefe.
Greg McCormack earned his law degree from the Western New England College School of Law in 1979 and finished his bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville University in 1975. He is licensed to practice law in the states of Virginia and Massachusetts; he is likewise licensed to practice in Military Appellate Courts, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, the U.S. Court of Claims and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Just like Neal Puckett and Monica Lombardi, Greg McCormack served in the military. He was a member of the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he first served as a military prosecutor before serving as defense counsel. He left the Army in 1982, and has since built a career in the representing members of the military in court-marital and administrative separation proceedings. He has represented armed forces personnel in various cases at military installations around the world.
Greg McCormack’s profile on his website tells of active military litigation experience that spans almost three decades. This leads to the presumption that such a background assures a prospective client of a skilled litigator who has the ability to get the best result possible for any given case.
