Overwhelming Support to 3 Accused Navy SEALs

Posted January 29th, 2010 by USNavySeals

We do think the message is quite clear — our readers support Navy SEALs Matthew McCabe, Julio Huertas and Jonathan Keefe. The response since we started writing about the travesty that is their being charged with assaulting a suspected terrorist has been overwhelming, with your comments on our posts as well as on our Facebook page.

Support Navy SEALs shirtAnd only recently, when we did a post on our own little fund drive to raise money for the legal needs of the “SEAL trio”, where half of the shirt’s purchase price will be sent to the Warrior Defense Fund, we received over 30 orders of “SUPPORT OUR SEALS” and “CONDEMN THE TERRORISTS, NOT OUR HEROES” shirts – and that’s just within the first hour from posting!

Aside from visibly supporting the SEALs by donning the shirts, we have customers who would like to find out about sending more than just $10 to the Warrior Defense Fund by donating directly.

You can make individual contributions to the Warrior Defense Fund in a number of ways. At the right-hand column of the site’s homepage is a “Donate” button that will take you to PayPal. From there, you can choose to log-on and donate using PayPal, or use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit card to donate.

If you would rather do this old-school, then you can write out a check payable to “Warrior Defense Fund” and mail it to:
Warrior Legacy Foundation
c/o First Western Trust Bank

Greenwood Village, CO 80111-9814
ABA: 102007011
Credit Account Number: 2045486
Credit Account Name: Warrior Legacy Foundation Warrior Defense Fund

Contributions made to the Fund are tax-deductible, according to retired Navy SEAL Capt. Larry Bailey, who is on the Fund’s advisory board.

Let us continue to support our SEALs!

This is a war against people that have sworn to kill us all.
That is the same mentality as the Japonese had in the 40′s, until one day when 78 of our bigegst bombers visited one of their cities and let them know we didn’t like the idea. A little later we made it clearly understood with the “big Daddy” of ammunition.
I have spent many days in the middle east and Algeria, and the only thing they appreciate is “strength of purpose”.
These conflicts will go on and on, until the politicians stay home, and let the warriors do what they have been trained to do, and I do not mean hand to hand. We have technology I wish I had in Algeria and Italy, let our warriors use it.
It is not heroic to give your life for your country, help the other guy give his life.
