Avid SOCOM and PSP players who have been looking forward to the release of SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3, which was supposedly set for a November 24 release, may be in for a bit of a disappointment. We are pretty sure that with the original release date less than a month a way, countdowns may have already begun.
According to a recent post in PlayStation.blog, fans will not be able to see SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 until January 12, 2010 – so some people will probably need to say goodbye to thoughts of being able to play Navy SEAL during the coming holiday break.
The post, however, positively reports that title development is “on schedule” and that they are “extremely pleased” with all the aspects of the title. It was mentioned also that “it is looking and playing great” — something that sounds really nice, indeed. Screens and video have reportedly been made available to the global marketing team recently, and one reason provided for delaying the release date is to “allow time to get the word out to everyone.”
