You know that, in order to be a Navy SEAL, you need to have a well-toned body that can perform under the most strenuous circumstances. This means that you need to dedicate your time to getting your body into the top physical shape that you can manage, which is going to require a great deal of working out as well as the proper diet. What may be surprising to you is the fact that you need to eat more carbohydrates than protein for this to successfully happen.
Muscles thrive on protein, this much is true. Protein will also be one of the key elements in making sure that your body is going to have the proper stores of energy to function. Carbohydrates, on the other hand, will supply your body with the specific type of energy which is going to promote muscle growth. They will both serve as a source of immediate energy for your body, which can help with an exercise routine, as well as a source for the production of insulin in the body. Insulin, as you may not know, works as a natural form of steroids in the body.
Navy SEALs all need to be at their physical peak in order to function as needed. If all of the internal levels of the body are not in the best state, you will not be able to find the energy you need to participate in Navy SEALs training. Eating plenty of carbohydrates, however, will give you what you need to start getting yourself into the proper physical state.
