Navy_SEALsHerein is a collection of some random and fun Navy SEALs facts .  Some of these you may have heard and some of them may be new to you.  But all in all, these are some of the most interesting facts concerning the Navy SEALs.

  • Designed as special operations unit, the Navy SEALs officially began in 1962.  Its fame and remarkable feats soon become known worldwide.  In fact, to date, many countries fear the mention of the words: Navy SEALs.
  • Navy SEALs are trained to work in more environments and terrains than any other type of solider in the United States.  They are trained to work on Land, on the Sea, and in the Air.  In fact, those three elements are what SEALs stand for.
  • Navy SEAL sharpshooters have almost 100% accuracy.  They are trained to hit a target within an inch from 100 or more yards away!
  • The majority of Navy SEALs will train upwards of 52 weeks before becoming an official Navy SEAL!  This makes the Navy SEALs the most trained soldiers in the United States military.
  • There are no female Navy SEALs and has never been a single female Navy SEAL in the history of the Navy SEALs.
  • As of 2009 there have been less than 11,000 individuals who have gained the title of Navy SEAL!  These numbers make the Navy SEALs even more elite!
  • Pro-wrestler Jesse Ventura was a Navy SEAL!

    Of all the great Navy SEAL heroes out there, why promote that dope Ventura, who is the least of all SEALs?

    This website is cool! It tells you so many things. But the part I was down on was that there never was a female in the Navy SEALs. And there never will be.
