zack-snyder-photoDirector Zack Snyder became a name of instant fame with his epic masterpiece 300300 was a genius film that broke box office records and immediately catapulted Zack Snyder to stardom.  With 300, Snyder had his actors trained by stunt men in order to carry out the enormous fight sequences and battles that made 300 such an epic masterpiece.

For Zack Snyder’s most recent film “Sucker Punch,” Snyder has not only brought on stunt men to assist him with his new battle picture, but has also enlisted the assistance of the Navy SEALs.  This is because Snyder wants the fight sequences to be more realistic and more accurate as far as fighting skills are concerned.  With that in mind Snyder turned to the Navy SEALs to receive some instant and accurate training for his stars.

“Sucker Punch” is a dramatic and action packed project that Snyder refers to as his own version of Alice In Wonderland — with machine guns!  The all girl cast consisting of: Amanda Seyfried, Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Emma Stone, and Evan Rachel Wood, will all receive skill and fighting training from seasoned Navy SEALs.

Just like with 300, much of “Sucker Punch” will contain dramatic and epic battles.  Not only has Snyder brought in the Navy SEALs to assist the actors with learning how to make their fights look believable, but to also assure that these fights are conducted in a safe manner in order to protect each of the actors involved.
